Erna Stapleton serves as the office manager at Hykel Law, where she oversees office management and ensures that clients receive a seamless and supportive experience from the moment they walk through the door. Before joining the legal field, she spent five years working in social services, supporting foster youth, the homeless community, survivors of human trafficking, and individuals impacted by domestic violence. These roles shaped her commitment to helping individuals and families navigate challenging transitions.
Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Erna immigrated to the united states with her family in 1999 as refugees following the war and the division of Yugoslavia. Her own journey inspires her work every day and fuels her passion for supporting clients through their immigration process. The clients she meets and the meaningful work she contributes to at Hykel Law continue to inspire her goal of furthering her legal career.
Erna holds a degree in psychology from Penn State University and is driven by the people she meets and the stories they share. Erna values compassion, connection, and empowerment in every client interaction. Outside of her work at Hykel Law, she enjoys painting, traveling, and spending time with her family.
